ABOUT RACHEL

A career built on asking better questions.

I’m Dr. Rachel Miller—a board-certified OB/GYN, executive coach, author and founder. I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of clinical care, people and the decisions that shape their lives.

The settings have changed over time. The question that guides me hasn’t: What might we be missing?

THE PHYSICIAN

Medicine is my foundation. Curiosity has expanded the view.

My career began in traditional obstetrics and gynecology, where I learned to make decisions grounded in clinical evidence, careful diagnosis and the realities of caring for women through complex moments. That training remains central to who I am as a physician.
More than 16 years of practice have also taught me the value of seeing a woman’s health in context. Symptoms do not occur in isolation from sleep, stress, metabolic health, relationships, work or life stage. That doesn’t mean every symptom has a hidden “root cause.” It means the clinical story deserves attention.
I’m a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and am pursuing additional education in integrative and functional approaches to broaden the tools and perspectives I bring to women’s health. My standard remains the same: stay grounded in science, be honest about uncertainty and individualize decisions to the person.

THE COACH

I became a coach because the human side of the work matters.

In high-stakes professional environments, the most difficult challenges are often not technical. They involve relationships, expectations, trust, communication and the ability to lead amid uncertainty.
As an ICF Professional Certified Coach, I’ve supported physicians and other leaders as they examine how they think, how they show up and how their choices affect the people around them. The work has reinforced my belief that the first explanation for a problem is not always the most useful one.
My leadership practice draws on evidence-informed coaching, assessment and facilitated conversations. It is practical, reflective and designed to help people lead more intentionally—not a set of slogans about transformation.

THE ADVISOR

Why I care about the ideas shaping women’s health.

A product can be innovative on paper and still fail to fit the realities of clinical practice or the needs of women using it. My advisory work brings the practicing physician’s perspective into conversations about clinical credibility, usability, provider adoption and patient trust.
I’m particularly interested in working with founders and teams willing to ask hard questions early: Is this solving a meaningful problem? What does the evidence support? How will it fit into real care? Who needs to believe in it for it to work?

THE FOUNDER

What comes next: Deeper Women’s Health.

Deeper Women’s Health is the next expression of this philosophy. I’m building a physician-led approach to midlife health that looks carefully at how hormonal changes, metabolism and healthy aging intersect while honoring the evidence and each woman’s individual circumstances.

This venture is still in development. It reflects both where I’ve come from and where I hope to contribute more deeply to women’s health in the years ahead.

OUTSIDE THE TITLES

A little more about the person behind the work.

I value thoughtful conversations, intellectual curiosity and the moments when someone sees a familiar challenge in a new way. I’m as interested in the people behind the decisions as I am in the decisions themselves.
The roles of physician, coach, advisor and founder give me different perspectives. What makes the work meaningful is the opportunity to put them to use with purpose and integrity.
